Saya is a master-level certified Reiki practitioner, and a member of Massage Therapists’ and Wholistic Practitioners’ Association of the Maritimes.

Through Reiki, Saya aims to help others understand, explore, and heal their own energies – to bring holistic healing that helps connect the body, emotions, and mind.

Saya is also currently studying Acupuncture with the full intention of layering the knowledge and tools of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM); to be able to broaden the scope of her practice to effectively diagnose and treat from the lens of an ancient medical practice that honours the deep complexities of the human body and the energetics within.

Outside of practice, Saya can be found teaching Reiki and hosting Reiki circles in community, meditating, painting, practicing yoga, being out in nature, and looking into the latest astrological events.

Stephanie Rybczyn El-Khatib R.Ac. (she/ they) is a graduate of the Autumn Institute of Health and is in good standing with ATCMANS (Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of NS). She is a queer, Lebanese-Ukrainian artist and arts worker. She is currently training in Engaging Vitality, a style of acupuncture that incorporates osteopathic palpatory principles to create highly effective, minimally-invasive, multi-systemic treatments. She trained briefly with Julie St-Pierre, a local specialist in women’s health, fertility, and gynecology. She is the recipient of the Stil Space Rooted in Care award, an award given to graduates with a strong focus on making medicine accessible in community.

Coming from an active arts background, her treatments are informed by a creative lens that witnesses the body in constant flux. This is amplified by her relational experiences with epigenetic trauma and chronic pain conditions, forming one of the pillars of her practice: that change is always a possibility.

Her treatments are rooted in palpation, meaning she spends a lot of time manually assessing tissues and structures to determine root causes and systemic effects of her client’s presentations. Her treatments focus on helping clients feel better now, while addressing the underlying causes of their symptoms to provide increasingly long-lasting windows of relief. She uses several modalities (acupuncture, acupressure massage, gua sha, cupping, and moxibustion) based on what her clients need. She also offers treatments that use no needles at all, while still using the complete acupuncture channels and points model to create positive change.

Stephanie is committed to supporting queer and trans health by focusing on things like surgery prep and recovery, wound/ scar healing, easing HRT side effects, and maintaining tissue health when using binders or packers. Additionally, she has special interest in treating concussions/ TBIs, sensory disturbances, digestive imbalances, Lyme disease, chronic pain, anxiety, and trauma/ PTSD/ C-PTSD. She is happy to work with clients on whatever conditions, experiences, or feelings of “not-quite-right” they bring to her.
